Frequently Asked Questions
Reading order, formats, signed copies, events and bookings: what readers and hosts ask Operator most often.
-
Where should I start with Operator’s books?
Placeholder answer. Most readers start with Battle Mage Farmer: Domestication, the first book of the series Operator is best known for. Each series stands on its own, so you can begin with whichever world sounds most like your kind of story.
-
What order should I read a series in?
Placeholder answer. Every series is numbered, and the Book Series page lists each one in reading order.
Titan and Tower follow the same main character, so read Titan first.

Are the books available as audiobooks?
Placeholder answer. Yes. Most titles are out in audio, and each book page lists its narrator and running time where an audiobook exists.

Where can I buy the books?
Placeholder answer. Every book page links to the stores that carry it:
- Amazon, in ebook, paperback and hardcover
- Audible and other audiobook stores
- Bookshop and Barnes & Noble for print

When is the next book coming out?
Placeholder answer. Release dates are announced to the newsletter first. Join the Inner Ring at the bottom of the homepage and you will hear before anyone else.
-
How do I book Operator for an event, podcast or interview?
Placeholder answer. Everything a host needs is in the media kit, including a short bio, sample videos and the topics Operator likes to talk about. Send the bookings form at the bottom of that page and we will be in touch.

Placeholder answer. Yes. The Advice for Authors page collects Operator’s videos and write-ups on dictation, outlining, publishing and making a living from fiction.
